Quick question. I got a couple SSE last year. And I'm planning on moving to nv. If I change my residency to nv. Do all those guns become nv guns. And I can't sell back to ca residents? Do my guns loose value. Should I sell everything here and re buy there??

Before you change your Residency to NV sell them PPT here on Calguns. Think of others you leave behind. Also it's off your name in CA DOJ database. When in NV simply buy the normal gun anyone you want. They are not registered. Enjoy your freedom.
P.S. If you don't sell them PPT in CA, file no longer in possession form when you sell them on gunbroker or to cabela's.Last edited by MontClaire; 07-04-2016, 6:26 PM. -
Yes. And if you buy more firearms they are legal too when you register them moving back. You have like a year to do it when you comeback to CA.Comment

Once you move there and have residency, the Nevada CCW is cheaper to get than California plus the CCW permit there lasts 5 years, not 2 years like here. And they have open carry which doesn't require any permit.Comment

At the moment, yes. But none of us can predict what the laws of the future might look like.
As other have said, your non-roster handguns are worth far more in California than in the rest of the country. Sell them now and replace them later.Originally posted by cockedandglockedGetting called a DOJ shill has become a rite of passage around here. I've certainly been called that more than once - I've even seen Kes get called that. I haven't seen Red-O get called that yet, which is very suspicious to me, and means he's probably a DOJ shill.Comment
