    Dark Storm's Fixed Magazine

What does everyone think of Dark Storms fixed magazines with the new laws? Dark Storm produces only high quality ARs and parts. There customer service is the best I have ever had. There fixed magazine doesn't even have a magazine release, so there is no dispute on it's legality. There 9mm carbine shoots sub MOA at 200 yards.

Another plus is Dark Storm is the only company to receive approval from troop L on their fixed magazines. It is a great replacement to the bullet button so I figured I will help some brothers in arms out and provide this information.

Your post reads like you're a shill for the company. And your post count is suspect.

Sadly, while the Steves at Dark Storm (they are legion) post some of the most brazen and entertaining shill threads on Calguns, the mods keep deleting the threads. I don't know why they do this.

"There" - in a specific location. - The shills for Dark Storm are there.

"Their" - possessive. - Dark Storm has their shills.

"They're" - They are. - They're shills for Dark Storm.

I'm actually very interested in Franklin Armory's fixed DFM mag and hopefully Dark Storm hasn't touched their patent.

It appears that they modify the lower by restricting the magazine with a set screw. Our design and patent is a new magazine that has tabs that restrict movement.

What does the magazine have to do with group size?

You don't have to alter it. You can remove the bolt catch, slide in the DFM mag, and reinstall the bolt catch. Upside is that you get the auto hold open. Down side is that you lose the ability to quickly slide out the DFM.

The real upside of doing that is that LE can't pull out your DFM and reassemble your rifle, accusing you of possessing an AW.

I will most likely go with the DFM and install it under the bolt catch.
