    Supply and demand.

Please do not panic and create an ammo shortage. The new ammo laws are all shifters of the demand curve, not the supply curve.

After the law goes into effect a year from now there will likely be a surplus in supply and falling prices due to a drop in demand.

Sincerely, a guy whow took economics in college.

No way to determine effect of licensing at point of purchase on cost yet. Stockpile because it will get more expensive with internet sales non existent.

These are long established demand shifters in economic theory. Prices will drop, mark my words.

The supplier isn't limited by internet ssles, again it is potential customers that are limited. Customers are the demand curve.

The law isn't putting online sellers out of business, it is cutting out their customers. Trust me, I spent way too much of my GI Bill on the subject.

Take into account how many people buy ammo online. They will have to buy from stores and cheap retailers like Wal-Mart are almost always out of the good stuff.
***PSA: Don't be that guy and post "Contact me, I'm interested". Dummy, YOU'RE the one who's interested. YOU contact the seller! ***

The same suppliers sell to online retailers as Wal Mart and your LGS. Online buyers and in store buyers are buying from the same wholesale distributors.

It makes no difference in the large scheme of things where you purchased your ammo.

IF internet sales will continue on through next year prices should drop.

I'd rather not buy "registered" ammo. I buy now and don't plan on participating in this BS when the law goes into effect.

See the demand curve will shift. Thank you.
