That's why I hate going to riflegear. People who are being waited on look at every product and ask 701 questions, chit chat about off topic BS for an extra 15 mins, takes them 20 mins to stand there trying to decide what stripped lower roll mark they like better.Rifle gear was pretty packed yesterday. I went after work and wasn't expecting it to be that bad.
Pulled number 89 at 3:24pm and they were barely on number 19. Fortunately a bunch of people left or were killing time else where until their numbers were called and I got helped right about 5:00pm. I was done in 20 minutes, but there was some guy in there who was being "helped" for over an hour.
He kept looking asking to see different rifles, shouldering them, racking them, then handed them back and got on his phone. Next rifle, same thing. DUDE! the black one is exactly the same as the gray one, just different colors! They got the same freakin parts on there, pretty sure they feel the same!
He was still there looking when I walked out. I understand you got questions and all, but when there's a bunch of people waiting to be helped, not cool.
Last time I was there, some guy must have asked to see at least 10 rifles to fondle and play with, starred at the lowers for a good 15 mins, worker and him had a 10 min convo about thier G/FS shoe/purse buying obsession. Then all he bought was a single box of 20rnds PMC and 1 pmag. Even kept telling the employee he had no money to buy a rifle (employees need to be trained to friendly tell people they gotta get the long lines moving and make thier decision in a timely matter)

Went to Sportsman's World in Rocklin this morning. Didn't look much different than usual. Ther were several people buying long guns, but that was not unusual. I was surprised that I was the only one hovering over the ammo aisle. Snagged a bunch of hollowpoints for carry, roll my own range ammo.
Got a great deal on a Browning leather belt!!!"I think, therefore some people make me laugh"Comment

yup.... I know what you mean. The funny thing was, I wasn't even there to buy anything having to do with ARs.... I was buying a shotgun. At that point, i haven't even eaten lunch yet so when he handed me the shotgun to inspect, i didn't even touch it and told him it looked good and I'll take it.That's why I hate going to riflegear. Why did Grant have to close at Ammo Paradise..... if only I bought more guns, he might still be around. I should have bought more, we all should have bought more......Comment

I'd be willing to bet some money it was a CGNer. Sounds like a lot of people around here. Totally ridiculous. As for crowds I was in a lot of gun shops today there was definitely an uptick in business but nothing too crazy like lines out the door or anything. That's why I hate going to riflegear. Broke window shoppers have caused me a lot of waiting over the years. RG and Turners should dedicate an employee and a line just to cater to Walter Mitty types that don't intend on buying anything but just want to socialize.Comment

Was at Riflegear yesterday to pick up my upper from the gunsmith around 3pm. It was packed, our number was 43 and they were on 15. After awhile people started leaving because they realized almost all the lowers and rifles were gone so we only waited about 30 minutes to get called.Comment
