So now that sb880 and other bills were signed into effect how does that effect ones featureless firearms are they still considered assualt style rifles sence they have detachable mags?

That law (AB-1663) did not make it to the governor's desk. Detachable (10 round) mag and no features will still work.

reading the bills (and taking a few aspirins afterwards), it looks like they are going after featured rifles with bullet buttons. .22s, sks'es, mini 14's, m1's, etc are still safe....for now.

Featureless is unaffected by new legislation.

we've lost the right to use (and own) standard cap mags, but no need to register (at this point) for featureless

Are Monsterman grips, Hammerhead grips etc. considered OK for featureless? I don't think anything has ever been decided by a court, so how much risk is involved using those things?

So an AR can no longer have a pistol grip so bullet buttons are no longer needed as well?

So, this is compatible with the new law?

The big dilemma...turn your stuff into featureless with grip wraps -or- register them and remove BB.

This was already answered. If it's featureless, then it's unaffected. The Ares Carbine looks featureless to me.

I've been waiting for this thread. I'm finally starting to calm down a little.

As far as I can tell featureless is GTG. Bummed for the Raddlock guy, but Solar and MonsteMan are going to be busy. They'll be bringing them in still like Saiga or with a new grip.
