Rifles or pistols?

It seems more and more these days my safe is feeling up with rifles. I do not part with rifles as easily as I do with pistols...seems pistols come and go... Rifles usually stay in the collection- i mean i have pistols that will stay til the end, but theyre a great "barter" item, as in easy to trade/sell for quick cash to buy... Well another rifle. Is it just me? My rifle to pistol ratio is easily 2:1... You guys?

I like my pistols. But I'm not afraid to part with them for other pistols.

Same here. Rifles are more practical and more fun for me. As for pistols, personally I like revolvers and I have a few plus one auto, dont feel a pressing need for any more.

Rifles are more likely subject to insane laws than handguns. I don't sell generally speaking.

Shotguns breed like bunnies.

But yeah rifles are most of the time keepers.

Handguns do come and go, I've had times where I've even sold a handgun I really liked.

Might be also that you can sometimes get more for your handgun, where as rifles you can get any one as long as it has a bullet button so they're not as rare. If that makes sense.

I joined an outdoor range that is 15 minutes from my house. My wife and I go almost every Tuesday morning. I have found that I take my rifles more often than I take my handguns.
