I bought a bunch of magazines from them before I learned that I wasn't supposed to.

As an organization, we may determine what cities and states / jurisdictions are too high of a legal risk to ship some of our items. Due to the high legalistic nature of your firearms laws, we (as a business) either cannot or choose not to sell certain products to protect ourselves from the potential risk of legal action by that jurisdiction. Your state is one of those jurisdictions.

I put this order in last Sunday for 400 rounds of Colt brand 185gr 45acp all copper hollow points,

      Merchandise Total: $170.38
      Shipping Total: $25.57
      Tax Total: $0.00

      Order Total: $195.95

      Got this email today:

Thank you for your order. We are pleased to inform you that the below item(s) have shipped for your order number blah blah blah

Shipping was high for coming from the same warehouse, but the ammo was cheap enough.

I've gotten many really butt-kicking good deals from them in the past for premium ammo, buffalo bore, double tap. Same at Midwayusa.

They wouldn't ship knives to me in CA several years ago when I was in the Air Force....

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

It seems we have members doing business with the enemy.

Didn't bother me a bit. I think it was out of bounds of civilized discourse.

I will continue to do biz with CTD, like a million others. They didn't get to be one of the big boys by screwing everybody over. As is with most cases I've seen with vendors or gunstores, their complaints were usually brought on by themselves.

Doing business with cheaper than dirt is like doing business with the cleaners that launders money for the heroin dealer that killed your kid.....but they get my shirts really clean.

I would rather run naked through a crowded dog park with peanut butter spread all over my scrotum and a fistful of Slim Jims in my keister than send a single penny to Cheaper Than Dirt.
