    Gun shows without cable, finally!!

    Hi Folks,

I have absolutely NO affiliation with OutdoorTV, but found out this morning that I could subscribe via internet (10 bucks a month or so) and get Shootout Lane and a bunch of other gun series via streaming. I'd rather eat a bug than subscribe to cable, and all I want to watch is gun competitions anyway, so bonus.

Have fun, and apologies if this is not the right place to share. I don't think this is "advertised" yet...

Its about time this kind of thing started to be available. I've dumped cable/dish for the simple reason that I want ala-carte programming.

Are you talking about the outdoor channel? I get that as part of my subscription to Dish and don't pay extra for it.

Verizon FIOS used to have it. Not sure why it got dropped. Now that it is Frontier maybe we can get it back.

Is this the gun shows loophole I keep hearing about? Thanks OP for the info.

A quick update after two months or so of OutdoorTV (web streaming, not cable) subscription. There's a lot of content for shooting, and even more for hunting. Upside is that it'll keep most busy for a few weeks of watching - downside is that I haven't had a new program, episode or anything in quite some time. So it seems that while great for some killer binge watching sessions, when you're done, you're done. It's new, and not like gun tv programming content is flowing each day, buuuutttt:

How about, New on OutdoorTV, 'CalGuns: "Fight For Freedom"'. A show that chronicles the process of California politicians and the good fight by the people of California for gun rights. I volunteer to be the program director - because then I could call Sacramento and say "Hi, I'm calling from the CalGuns Show to interview <politicians name here> for our next episode."

              :-)
