They have a stock for my Sig that is well priced. How long it takes to arrive really doesn't bother me since its gunna are a month or two to get my tax stamp. What I'm asking is how reliable OpticsPlanet is. Any good or bad experiences.

OP is kind of like PSA. Shipping times can be crazy long. Like PSA, I have had stuff take a month to ship out from OP, even though it shows in stock. But then again, sometimes they ship out almost instantly. It's a crap shoot.

Oh and sometimes they ship items separate from single orders. No skin off my neck though since shipping is usually free anyway.

So if you don't need it anytime soon, then you should be GTG. If you expect it in a week, then probably walk on by.

Other than that, never had any problems with the website.

I have ordered many things from them over the years, never a problem. Everything usually shows up very fast. Had to return some sights once because they were not tall enough, and it was no problem exchanging them for taller ones.

Use coupon code CALGUNS for 5% off unless you have a better code.

I ordered a holster from them, and over a month later, they sent me the wrong holster, and I made an immediate request to return the holster. They denied me the ability to return the holster, because my request was made after 30 days from the date I placed the order. I'll never order anything from them again.

Ordered an optic from them last year. The operator I spoke to gave me a price over $70 less than was posted on the website, implying that certain items are negotiable. The optic was shipped soon after and I had it in hand days later.

The experience was a good one, yet this is the only time I've ever tried them. The story above makes me a little weary of trying them again.

I've bought a few things from them recently. Great pricing. Shipping was kind of slow I went with the free shipping it took about 5 -7 days before I got it.

Gtg in my experience. Shipping slower but free. Inventory used to be 'not live' so ran into a few times a backorder couldn't be filled, but that may have changed recently.

I purchased a reasonably discounted Leupold scope from them for my model 1894 Marlin .357MAG- ship time was stated as out to two weeks, it showed up in nine days. Thumbs up!

I canceled my only order with them. They never gave me a tracking number or any follow up email because the item wasn't instock. Of course they still listed it on their website and allowed me to purchase it...I emailed them once per day for 7 days and no response. Day 8 I sent them an email telling them to cancel my order and they did within 90minutes. Their poor, sorry horrible, customer service is not deserving of my money.

Same Here. Order a Surefire 300x 4 weeks later I got. The problem was it was a knock off light. Someone switch the knock off 300x for the real one. They wouldn't refund me my money. Had to call the CC and got my money back.
