    Burro Private Ranges

    Just wondering,
which are the better ones to ask for rifles?

I usually get tac-6 and had not really paid attention to the other ones.
I know at least a couple have some shade, preferred, while others dont have any.
    thanks

    Ask for E2

You would have to bring your own shade/canopy though.

      Agreed. East 2.
They have a picnic bench out there now, but no shade.

$20.00 per person, minimum of 4 people.
I've always liked North-1 and North-2... nobody to bother you or come sticking their noses into your business.

I'd stay off of Burro's private ranges. They're not fun at all.

Stick to the community ranges and Angeles please.

Well, you don't get to be as social as you would in the public area (has it's pluses and minuses).

I've never heard of "Burro private ranges". Fill me in.

The private ranges..especially E1 & E2 / North ranges are horrible...rattlesnakes everywhere, super windy, no facilities. STAY AWAY!

By the way, the last two weekends I was up there, LASD, were patrolling the private ranges with Binoculars. As I was leaving (being LEO friendly) I asked one officer what they were looking for. His answer was illegal guns. I took my evil featured M&P 15 (with BB) and went home.

you should have then asked "what is an illegal gun" and I bet you would have gotten a BS answer. I doubt that was the real reason they were up there since burro on any given weekend has dozens of OLL's shooting there.
