    eBay Cerakoting Services

    I have seen eBay Cerakoting services that are out of state, AZ and OHio based. They are FFLs, and some of he work quality looks to be at par with some local Cerakoting services at almost half the price.

    Is it legal for me to ship and receive back my rifle/pistol parts without a California FFL in the middle? Or is this the reason why it's better and eventually cheaper to get it locally done?

      Yes legal to ship.


      But there are a lot of local vendors
      here who do the same thing.

          The overnight shipping of a handgun is what will eat up most of the savings you'd get.

                  FYI, the Ohio guy took a few months on my gun.

                  I didn't go through ebay though, so maybe you would have more leverage using their service.

                      Luckily I have subsidized shipping via FedEx from workplace. The Ohio guy promises 10 days on eBay. I don't really care if it's twice that long.

                      I just wanted to make sure I have no legal issues shipping it.
