Winchester Model 52

I have a buddy that has one of these and wants to sell it. A few searches around the net indicate it could be quite valuable.

I'm wondering if anybody knows anything about these? He's going to give it to me tomorrow to clean it up and do a little research on it. More than likely will end up for sale here in the Marketplace.

Allright, it's a 52C. Looks to be 1955 manufacture. Sporting a Redfield Olympic Sight.

This thing is CLEAN, immaculate really. Small ding on the left side of the stock and very superficial bluing wear on the barrel. The rifling is bright and clean, bolt matches the serial number. This thing is an absolute GEM.
