gun bug has got me again. Been wondering what to get next. I do not carry but like UC guns. For range I have 1911 and a beretta both in full size. I'm leaning towards the XD sub-compact. I know it's not practical to get something that small given the fact that I don't carry. Anyone thinks it makes total sense "just get what you want regardless".

Personally I like CZ, they fit my hand perfect, are very well built and a tried and tested design. Plus something about those XD's just doesn't feel right when I handle em.

The smallest handgun I've liked enough to buy so far is the Sig 229, which I bought specifically for concealment post-SHTF/whatnot - and for the fact I could get a Crimson Trace laser for it. Although, I haven't really tried the 239, which is smaller still.

The CZ-2075 RAMI is really nice though. Really small, and it will accept standard CZ-75 magazines for extra capacity. With a full length mag inserted, you have more of a standard grip.

Nothing wrong with carry around the house. I do everyday. I have heard the XD sub-guns are nice yet they are on the big side IMO. A glock 26 or 27 would make a nice carry pistol. If you really want to go small look into a Kahr K9, K40, MK9 or MK40. Very small and easy to pocket. I think having at least one sub gun is a good idea but I like have a tool for every job. When I first started buying guns I made sure I had one pistol, shotgun, boltaction rifle, semiauto rifle before I thought about getting another gun.

CZ p-01 is a really nice small handgun. its a little smaller than a glock 19 and feels less bulky. Its also the only NATO approved handgun available for sale to civvies so when the smurfs attack you can steal their loaded mags
just kidding with that last part.

I just bought a Sig P239 for the gal, altho I'm still waiting on the 10 days.

Very nice pistol. It is on the small side (fits her hands perfectly), magazine capacity in 9mm is 8 or 10 with the extended magazines. It is a VERY nice pistol. I'm thinking, that when I'm allowed to buy my next pistol, it might very well be a 239 in 357SIG or .40.
