Odd thing....he was just on Facebook with some posting about shooing at a range a couple days back.

My buddy told me.... and believe it or not we weren't playing poker with Travis.

that's basically what I mentioned...time is dollars and insurance they pay is high.

IMO any California gun shop that doesn't post someone inside the establishment during the hours when it's closed is being stupid and irresponsible. There've been so many such after-hours robberies of gun shops you'd think the owners of such stores would at minimum post armed guards at the shops overnight.
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if ... during periods of mass arrests ... people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror ... but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush ... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers ... the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!Aleksander Solzhenitsyn

Well, the hours of non-operation for most gun stores is probably longer than 12 hours, so you'd be paying someone overtime every day, probably at least $45k a year. If they're supposed to have their guard card to carry and guard the store, it'll likely command somewhere nearer to $55k. Adding that much overhead to any store isn't a feasible solution.

We really don't want the state mandating what a safe store setup would be either, CA approved safes, guns, and gun locks is beyond an infringement.

This will probably never be allowed because of the wimp *** law makers we have, but a nice cyanide gas release alarm system would take good care of this kind of scum for good. Even some tear gas would probably do the trick, but the cyanide would be better.

True, plus most guns are kept in their shipping boxes.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

When I worked at turners a couple of years ago all the guns that were drosed just say on a shelf in the back room. The only vaults in that place were the ones out on the floor. Keep that in mind.

At a gun shop near to me they are all inventoried in the morning when they are being put out, and inventoried again when they are being locked up in the evening. Being lazy is not an excuse for feeding the anti's. If you can't do it properly, don't do it at all.

@ gun shops in two days got hit here in Denver. 30 from the first one, and still waiting to here from the second one. Sounds like a trend.
