I don't appreciate my thread being deleted or censored. What is this? It was a constructive conversation with LEO. It was not derogatory or meant to put anyone down. i want to know the reason for the deletion.

Hey badicedog, best thing to do is to pm one of the mods and they might clean the thread and repost it or tell you why it went away. From what it looks, it probably went south in a hurry or some of the comments were derogatory to LEO's, some of the members here are active LEO's. Crap, I would not like it one bit if someone starts talking bad about the Military.

Because most of the time people tend to categorize all LEO's as bad apples and it turns into "US vs THEM" and that is not the way it is.

Correct, but more often it is us the ones that go over the top bashing LEO's. I have met some really good Officers and some really bad ones. It is just like any profession, you got the ones and you got the bad ones, but most of them are not bad apples, just misinformed about gun laws.

What I don't understand is why kill the whole thread?
How about just delete/edit the offending post then give the offender a weeks vacation or more?

I have to say - if you spent time writing something and one part of it was offensive and the whole thing you wrote was deleted, I just happen to think that's rude. Don't delete the entire post/thread - delete the parts that are offensive. This happened to me and I said "Please point out where I was being offensive/rude/what not" and I just copy and posted what I posted before and it was not deleted nor edited for that matter.
