Moved from Cali and have a question

I am now on the east coast due to a work transfer and have a question regarding selling a couple of firearms online.

I know I would have no issue selling them locally but one of the ones I would like to sell has the Cali SSE associated with and was registered there.

My question, is it possible to sell the firearm to someone in California at this point? From what I gathered, I believe I can but am not 100% sure. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

The California registration has no effect on your ability to lawfully transfer the weapon out-of-state.

You may wish to file a "No longer in possession" form with DOJ to reflect the transfer. but that is not required.

The California registration record for the weapon will remain, but should the weapon ever become the subject of a law enforcement investigation, the form will produce a data entry showing that you reported the sale.

If it is off roster, it cannot be sold through interstate transfer in CA to an individual who is not exempted. That only works with a PPT, in person.

It is off roster hence the SSE comment. No sale unless in person. Understood and thank you!
