While this isn't anything new, I did like the section in the article that says individuals would be "required to turn in" their high capacity magazines.

Like always they are reaching. How will they add all these "law breakers" to the jail system? Last I checked they are letting people out left and right.

Well duh, they're making room for all of us. They figure that they don't need anybody productive who pays taxes when they can just ask DC for money.

Regardless of what happened or happening in NY the bills where signed and the law is the law. I'm certain that the people of NY will just roll over rather than have a criminal record and be a criminal like the Goverment would want to happen.
The same here in CA if GB signs most fun owners will be BuFu. BuFU big time.
