    orlando murders.

well the usual poor reporting from the big bleeding hart "news". again a ar-15 was used.
just a question. how many legally sold ar-15's are in the hands of Americans?

    total numbers?
    per capital?
    per 100,000?
per numbers of all other guns?
per number of model of "other" style of guns out there?
    by state?

it looks like the news is tiring to gear up for a hillery ban on ar-15 and such styled rifles.

I don't know but more people are stabbed to death than killed by long guns.

i was just wondering how many ar-15 are out there?
like is it the most popular rifle / gun? if so would just the numbers say this is more likely to be used?
aka: as in if there are 500,000 ar-15/clones out there. ver only 300,000 (just numbers pulled out of a black hole) "other guns, one would think the ar-15 would be used in more street crime than another gun.

There are likely so many that nobody really knows for sure, taking into account all the 80% builds, etc.
I see them everywhere, especially at my private club range. It must currently be the most popular platform, by far.

Gun free zone. Cell phones are great for taking pictures of Muslims killing the infidel. Praise Allah.

So the shooter is on the FBI watch list, including 3 separate interviews due to other incidents, yet can "legally" still buy a gun. I guess that tells you how effective the background checks really are.

I agree, and also when incidents like this happen most of the time the perpetrator was somebody already known to LE but nothing was done about them.

He wasn't on any watch list. Because the result of the interviews was negative. With no probable cause, there's nothing they can do.

Since this is Merika, they can't arrest a person, or deny them a civil right, for something they have a suspicion they might do in the future.

Back to "terror watch lists". There are a great many people on these secret squirrel lists that have never said or done anything crime related, let alone terror related.

Entire families are stopped from boarding planes because a small child among them is on somebodies list.

If the government is going to use these secret squirrel lists for the purpose to deny citizens rights. The lists should be made public for all to see. Then the citizen has the ability to refute any accusations. And set the record straight.

Hate to be too much of a paranoid conspiracy theorist but I was reading an article online (I don't necessarily buy into the validity of it) about the fact that 300 people were in a bar and there wasn't any cellphone pictures or video of the shooting or hostage situation. How is that even remotely possible these days?! Not even 1 out of 300 people pulled out their phone and took video?! I find that hard to believe... Wouldn't put it past the left to have orchestrated such a tragedy to further their anti-gun agenda, If the event even took place at all and isn't all a bunch of smoke and mirrors! Anyone ever see the movie "wag the dog"? With fake wars to cover up scandal? Same stuff happens everyday, always seems to be some new tragedy (real or perceived) to take everyone's eyes off a scandal, cover up, govt screw up, etc... Just food for thought.
