Holster for a hook and loop system

So looking for some suggestions on a kydex holster for a G19 that instead of a clip has hook on the back side for a hook and loop system?

Are you trying to attach a holster to a plate carrier?

No would be for attaching inside of safe, sling backpack.

Run a strip of Velcro hook through the belt loop on a regular holster. You can get a lot more contact area that way.

Maxpedition , Grey Ghost and VertX all make Hook & Loop holsters.

The VertX is made entirely from Velcro so it conforms and sticks like a champ.

That sounds like a bad idea. Really bad.

I second this.

Backpacks and other places where you would carry a loaded firearm have MOLLE and the like connections for a reason. Velcro isn't secure enough to handle the weight of a loaded gun safely.

If you are storing the gun, as opposed to carrying it, then there are various pouches that can attach to the inside of a gun safe via velcro readily available on the market. Don't use these to try to carry a gun, as they are not designed for that.
