Father is looking for ranges around the Temecula area

Hey guys, my dad just moved to Murrieta which is around the Temecula area. He can't seem to find a range close to him and my searching only found the Rainbow shooting club in Fallbrook which only goes out to 100 yards.

Can you guys help point me in the direction of a shooting range around his area that has some distance?

He is getting pretty old and it's hard for him to walk around a lot. An ideal place would be:
    • 500 yards plus
    • Within a 1 hour drive of Temecula area
    • Benches already set up
    • Shade
    • Bathrooms on site
    • Somewhere that has a membership (so I can get him one for fathers day ;-)

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

    Pala range
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Yep. Pala is pretty much the only range around that goes out past 300yds. And it's a short drive south of Murrietta. They do have weird "public" hours though. A lot of range time is reserved for matches or they rent it out to various agencies to use for training.

He could also look into the Santa Margarita Gun Glub. They do matches, and practice sessions on some of the ranges on Camp Pendleton. I believe they get out to 1000yds there.

Cool. Thanks guys. I'll check em out.

Rancho Deliverance looks pretty cool. Have you ever shot there? Is sounds like a one man operation on his own land. Is Jesse pretty cool?
