    What rifle is this?

    A buddy of mine was looking at gun shops in the city of Istanbul, Turkey and is trying to find out what rifle this it. I said, well lets ask the CG community..

    What is it?

      Definitely appears to be some flavor of AK but other than that . . no idea.

          Looks like a small caliber AK variant of some sort. Probably 9mm

              The magazine release and safety differ from that of the AK family, also looks like a buffer tube carbine stock.

                  Could be pot metal AK look alike in 22lr.

                                          I would say new AKX 9 9mm American Made AK but your location throws that off.

                                                  I didn't ask the guy, gf was getting pissed cause it was raining and a bomb had gone off like 1 hr before only a few blocks from where we were
