    Fellow SSG3000 owners, need help

Does anybody have any experience with SSG3000 bolt? I took mine apart to clean the pin and spring and now I can't put the bolt back together. Sig basically told me that I never have to clean the inside of the bolt which I find very hard to believe. I know other bolts you can field strip them and clean the firing PIN and spring.

Before I send this back to Sig I would like to hear from fellow SSG3000 owners and confirm what they are telling me.

add some pics so you can see what I am talking about

No I've never taken mine apart. The ones i have were under alot of spring tention. So is it possible to assemble the bolt without the spring ,just to get an idea of how the parts go together?

Yes I can assemble without the spring very easy but once the spring is in I cannot rotate the part forward they are stuck at 180 degrees

Looks very similar to the Sako 3 lug design bolt. That one uses a tool about the size of a mason jar cap, it requires a push and turn technique. It's almost impossible without the added leverage of the tool to turn the cammed retainer thing.

You're gonna have to figure out a way to compress the spring and then turn the bolt at the same time. I large vise maybe?
