    Black talons.

    Move this if needed

I was going through some old boxes today and found a case (500) of these. Pretty excited about it. These were the first gen LE rounds if memory serves me, right?

Yup the ol racist bullet. LOL Had to be renamed because some people thought it was intended to be used against Talons.

It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to post the first photo. It says law enforcement ra9sxt 147 grain sxt.

Yeah it happens. It was actually in the trunk of a car I own, found a case ak 7.62 x 39, old armscor 380 ammo, a bunch of 38 m41. I think the 38 stuff is really old, I know it's govt stuff from the war but the lot number is really low, might be something special to it, any ideas?

I thought Talons had a nickel case. Doesn't the brass case mean as you posted, that it is just SXT, which we all know is the Same eXact Thing

Found in the trunk of your car? A hot trunk isn't the most ideal place to store ammo.
I'd like to see the box as well, as Black Talon had nickel cases.
ra9sxt is Winchester Ranger 9mm. LE just means it's packaged in 50 round boxes as opposed to 20 rd.

The SXT is exactly the same thing as the commercial Black Talon, just different casings and offerings.

                    Not Black Talons.

I've got more cars then I can count, in places I dont remember. This was in a barn, not hot at all. I'm pretty sure these are the first gen law enforcement talons, the black coating on the bullet.

No. That round is the replacement with a new name. All Black Talons
                        Are nickel case.
                        No exceptions.

Post picture of dozens of boxes of Black Talon ammo with SXT written all over it. Says LEO 9MM SXT with same exact Black Talon bullet with brass casing isn't Black Talon.

Bullets may be the same but when it come time to sell check completed auctions. I don't think anyone is paying BT prices for SXT.
