    Look what FedEx brought today...

    Tannerite!

This is the case of 20 .5lbs targets.

    It included:
    20 - .5lbs jar/targets
    1 jar of Tannerite Catalyst
    1 mixing jar
    1 5cc measuring spoon
    Instructional DVD
    Instruction Sheet

I made the purchase Thursday at 2245hrs and it arrived today around 1400hrs.

    Pretty fash shipping IMO.

I'll be posting pics/videos as soon as I get to shoot 'em.
My mother-in-law has 10 acres off of the 138 but it'll be a few weeks before I can make it out there.

The guys at tannerite.com are real easy to deal with and very helpful.

      Search for Tannerite on youtube.

yep. 100% legal as long as you follow a few simple rules.

but i'll definitely be calling the neighbors before i go out and shoot 'em.

Be extremely judicious when using. California has very little leeway on what is and isn't an explosive.

While the separate chemicals are not illegal, once they mix under pressure (bullet passing through) it is at that moment an illegal explosive substance. Granted, you are in momentary possession, but possession none the less.

Don't let your fun get you tossed in jail.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

pretty cool. too bad ammo costs soo much, can't afford to spend this much on targets. I'm also surprised this stuff is legal in CA

it looks very cool and a lot of fun so it begs the question:
are you ABSOLUTELY sure that this is legal to use in CA?

Just don't close the container the mixed Tannerite is in and you won't meet the letter of the law as far as what constitutes an explosive device.

                        trust me...
jail, courtroom, backseat of a cruiser, etc... are the last places I want to be.

I definitely can see how in the wrong hands someone would end up in jail... or worse on Oprah missing all four limbs.
