Slide racker for a sheild 9mm

It would provide yet another place for it to snag on clothing when drawing in addition to the rear sight, it creates an unnatural protrusion that would pose increased risk of the printing being noticed (we all print, most people simply don't notice, my wife is always pointing out people to me that are carrying)
And short story, it's not needed.
I'm over 50, my hands are not strong (I can't rack a new Baer and even my new Kimber is a challenge).
After the Shield has been fired a few hundred times, it opens up nicely.
Want a gun that is difficult to rack? Try one of the pocket-380s

I'd pass on that OP.
The only thing I use for one handed racking is grip tape on the top of the slide.
Good rear sight is usually enough, but I find the gt works well wet or dry and you don't need to be wearing a belt either. Options are good and gt is cheap too.Comment
