Just wondering how it is in terms of quality. I'm sure many of you got the same sgammo email I got. I was thinking about stocking up. I know black hills is supposed to be the best, but I rarely find it in stock, and it is definitely not cheap.

IMI ammo?

It has always been very good. Do not see why it would be any different now.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I saw a couple of places where Black Hills was in stock today. I don't buy black hills because there are less expensive options that are just as good.
IMI makes great ammo, the IMI 77gr is just as good as Black Hills, but less expensive.
I don't know about the IMI 69gr so I'll have to do some research, but the 77gr is top notch.Last edited by ScottsBad; 06-02-2016, 4:33 PM.sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.Comment

I bought a 1200 case of the imi m193 the other day. I shot 15 rounds for accuracy, and it performed about equal to wolf gold and PPU m193, with a POI equal to the ppu at close range. Ran about 200 rds for a carbine match and it didn't seem any cleaner or dirtier than any other brass case.
It averaged about 3150fps from my 16" barrel at 10 feet. I forget the SD and max spread, but it was pretty good for bulk/mil ammo.
I noticed the 30rd boxes are more space efficient, so if you want to stack it really deep, it's a good option as well. However, if you can get the ppu cases, they come 10 boxes of 20 in a translucent plastic, sealed.
Bottom line, I recommend you buy it.Comment

I avoid 9mm IMI like the plague. Some of it has a weird case that is thicker at the bottom. Seen some weird case separation at the seam.
If I happen to pick some IMI pistol brass I chuck it in the recycling bucket. My mother always told me to be careful what you ask for.
Just one more piece of parental advice I stupidly ignored.

It's always worked very well for me. The 2015 cases are incredibly shiny!
Also nice, is that the primers seem slightly softer than do LC M193 primers. I've had 2-3 light strikes with the LC stuff using my ALG FCG lighter spring but never with the IMI.This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.Comment

I bought 1500 rounds of IMI 5.56 55grain two months ago and have shot then all, not one problem! Amazing price and good quality.Originally posted by gwgn02G-shock, a good way to tell the time, and better way to tell the female variety you are unworthy mating material.Comment
