    Remove California Handgun Roster

Is it likely in the near future that the handgun roster will be removed and all handguns would be legal in California?

Also, sorry if this has been answered somewhere already, but are there any pending cases against the handgun roster, declaring it unconstitutional and/or trying to remove it?

It's more likely that all of the guns currently on the roster will be removed before anything happens.

Okay, I was just curious if there was any way I could be more politically active and help restore California gun rights.

This one is probably more for the lawyers, but getting active may help in increments.

Besides just joining the NRA and supporting federally, is there a "State NRA" which helps specific states, such as California? (If so would that be http://crpa.org/ ?)

Legal guns. There's probably over a million illegal ones. Good luck, commies!

not unless trump wins and he appoints gun friendly judges, if a democrat wins and we get a liberal supreme court expect hell on the 2A to occur

In an attempt to bring some academic content to the discussion please note that the challenge to the handgun roster was summarily thrown out by federal district court judge with the theory that it does not in any way in French on the Second Amendment and therefore no level of scrutiny would apply

You wouldn't be supporting just federally with the NRA.

Cox also announced that NRA-ILA is now keeping all funds donated by Californians in California to fight for the Second Amendment rights of Californians.

With that said, does that mean I need to donate to NRA-ILA (https://www.nraila.org/) to keep funds in California, not NRA (https://home.nra.org/)?

Yes. The ILA is the lobbying side of the NRA.
