    Escaping Ca

Born and raised here. But soon leaving the Kalifornia state for good!
What should my first handgun purchase be? Would like for it to have a threaded barrel

Ruger MkIII. Really, buy whatever the heck you see and like.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

You can get threaded barrels for pistols you already have. I have an HK USP 45 and I got a threaded barrel for it recently. I'm also going to get a threaded barrel for my Remington 1911R1, and then get a suppressor that I can use with both of them.
      Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Glock 18. Because semi-auto is just too small a reason to leave California.

Idk much about full auto. I know everything pre 86 is too much $$$ and I don't want to be a dealer to get the newer stuff.
I sold all my handguns all I'm taking is my .308 cuz I paid too much to ever get my money back so it shall be buried with me I guess. Haha

Good call selling handguns, especially if they're off roster. I cringe at the $900 G43s for sale.

I'm leaning towards a p30L but I hate the thought of having to buy a 400 dollar barrel right after a 900 dollar gun. Maybe FN is a Better rout

I would go with the FN for the threaded barrel.

Then get the HK MK23 later

Beretta M9A3 comes with a threaded barrel standard.

Springfield Armory XD(M) has a threaded barrel standard.
