Even if it gets repealed nationally it won't do anything here.

It especially won't happen until after the election, and that's assuming Trump wins.

        Ha ha.

Republicans had both houses of Congress and the White House and a conservative Supreme Court majority between 2003 and 2006 and did almost nothing for gun rights. Nothing.

Why do you guys think Republicans will suddenly start worrying about gun rights now?

Sorry but idiots dont reason with reason. They flow with emotions. Just look at lead ban here in CA. Everything presented pointed towards lead ammo does nothing to condors yet it still passed with flying colors.

You are correct in your assessment of past non-achievements.

However, there is a difference this time around. With Trump's impending nomination and the total trashing of the candidates they told us we were to choose from, the Repubs seem to be slowly coming around to the idea that they are not making the rules anymore.

How far will that extend? Who knows. Is it likely that the Hughes Amendment will be repealed? I don't think so. But I think it is more likely to happen than it was before.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

                Heller in 2008.
                McDonald in 2010.

How many states have gone shall issue or Con-Carry since 2006?

2A issues have become a much more main stream issue that they have been in the past. It would be a nice first move in getting some other provisions of the NFA-34 repealed. At least perhaps suppressors and SBRs.

Yeah, I've heard that before . . . every election since 1980. "This time it will be different! We'll really do what we said we were going to do when we were trying to get elected."

                  Reminder: It's never any different.

The President and the Congress had nothing to do with those decisions. In fact, the entire Congress was controlled by the Democrats in 2008 and 2010; and a Democrat was in the White House in 2010.

In any case, those decisions could not occur again today.

The President and Congress have nothing to do with state laws.

I'm surprised I have to explain these things.

The 2nd admendment has been turned over to the states to decide.

These selfish statements drive me insane when I consider how much repealing the Hughes amendment would help restore freedom.
