CG storage locker in NV anyone?

If these gun moster laws pass we should go in on a storage locker in Vegas, bring your own gun safe and keep your rifles safe there I say. Probably easily fit 15 safes in one storage room so it would be pretty cheap month to month

On the surface this sounds good but I don't want my weapons that far away with no one watching them. Can you imagine a thief breaking into that storage locker and seeing all those gun safes? Jackpot. If I was willing to have them that far away I'd rather pay someone I know to store it in his garage.

Insurance. Your arms should already be well insured, it doesn't cost much and it's great peace of mind. In addition to my NRA policy I carry high value item insurance on anything over $500 in my house, including guns. Even if I break them through my own negligence they are covered. I think I pay $15 a month or so.

Remember we are talking about storage in another state in a self storage facility. Make sure your policy covers that. I have the NRA insurance and my homeowners covers some.

I have seriously thought about this myself, I've been calling and checking in to the rates.

meh, my guns are not moving out of my house in my own safe. if it comes to the point where firearms are being confiscated i will need them to fight the good fight.

I already do this for my suppressors though I left them in a storage facility in Quartzsite AZ. It's closer to me than Vegas. Federal law requires that only I or people in my trust are allowed to have access to them. Not a problem with them being in a safe inside a locker.

You would be better served to start a NEW gun related accessory/storage business.

Already got this covered with my family's own land. Why you'd want to share a storage location with a bunch of gun owning strangers is way over my head.

That said, luckily all those bull**** laws coming down the pipe can't do **** about our ability to have what we want in other states, and when you're less than 2 hours away from the border...

Actually just find someone that lives there that is responsible, trustworthy, to keep an eye the secure facility. In addition, that person could buy ammo for you so you can always have some.

I have secured storage onsite for a lot of Calgunners guns. When I have to leave for a few days at a time I have a secured facility with 24 hour armed guard inside a mountain. When I am gone for a few hours I have an armed guard here. My name is on a lot of trusts so I can move items quickly or clients drop their stuff off when they go out of town.

I am also very close with the local PD. They know I am better armed than them and have been instructed to just evacuate the nearby homes if something happens here.

Yes, but a CHECK will NOT replace your newly minted "ASSAULT WEAPONS" and/or off roster pistols. Once they are GONE, you CANNOT replace them in CA.

no one is taking your legally owned and registered firearms. if you're nervous about it then you have something to hide. don't feed the hype. stay locked and loaded. a gun in a safe outside of your home is a worthless paper weight!
