    As said above get a good set of dedicated screw driver tips..

    I have a Brownell's set, plus the thick and thin sub sets...

    Well worth the small investment, when you can avoid bugger up a screw on a nice gun...
    And don't use them on other stuff. You will break a tip...

      A small bottle of 44/40 and a black sharpy when you scratch metal. You will do it eventually.

        The Brownells Magna Tip set would be my recommendation as well. Excellent quality screwdriver set.

          I'm a mechanic by trade. Own a lot of tools. I know what I'm going to say is the more expensive way to do it. Sometimes it's the best way.

          Don't buy cheap low quality tools. In the long run, they cost more.

          I don't use my work tools on my guns. Most of my gun tools are dedicated to that only.

          Rarely use my work tools for household stuff. Those are separate tools as well. Very little crossover.
