ESS shooting glasses

Hi,
I had been looking for some shooting glasses and the traditional shooting glasses I have found would allow me to see through the middle of the lense while shooting instead of through the top of the lense, but they aren't safety glasses. I found out about the ESS safety glasses that can mount prescription lense inserts behind the safety lense. Has anyone here worn these glasses for rifle or shotgun shooting? Do the prescription inserts sit high enough to allow you to see through the middle of the lense? thanks.

I used mine for the first time this weekend.
They are great for handguns.
Not ok for my AR and shotguns.
I think I need a pair of the High/Wide aviator types for shooting long guns.
I had single vision lenses installed. Far vision for my left eye and focus for sights for my dominant right eye. Seems to work alright, but as I say, I will get a pair of the old man style frames for my long guns and use these cool looking EES' for my hand guns. I think they are a great value, you get three lenses.
