Anyone use a Gun Database to keep track of their stuff?

A bit of searching turned up MyGunDB and NM Collector as possible options.

Wondering if anyone has used one or both of them, and if you like it/them.

I've been using a free IOS app called Gun Log and it's decent. I mainly use it for firearms info (serial numbers, etc.) and to keep track of rounds on hand by caliber.

It's not as full blown as MyGunDB, but it's simple, free, and stores everything locally. Feel free to check it out

I use an Excel spreadsheet to track my firearms, serial numbers, accessories on each, cost and ammo inventory by caliber.

I use my own database to track the firearms bought & sold, as well as maintenance, observations, range sessions, mods/upgrades etc for each firearm. I use excel for ammo inventory by caliber.

I use Gun Safe, the pro version. They have a free version that's good also. You can load pictures, range trips, etc. Will also export as an Excel datsbase. Password protected.

You better believe it, especially if you use anything from google/android.

Excel does everything I need to keep track of my guns. Hell, Notepad would be good enough.

Luckily there are these things called printers, and both excel and databases allow you to compile reports for printing. I print a master list whenever it changes, and keep hard copies in several places. Hopefully you are also keeping duplicates of your index cards, 'cause fire/flood/thieves...

Plus laptops have batteries, it's a thing now...
