I wouldn't be so quick to rush a suicidal man who has had enough time to attach who knows what to his person before suddenly surrendering.

Story says it was fully automatic, quoting an officer, and there were a couple of bursts that definitely sounded full auto - at 1:46 - 1:50

When the officer came up and opened the car door on the left to take cover, I was thinking that it might give him some psychological comfort, at best. I'm glad he got behind that car quickly, and that no LEO's or bystanders were hurt. I can't quite say that I feel the same for the shooter. How much time will he face, and how much is it going to cost us?Comment

The suicidal part came from RP. Called in saying his neighbor was acting like 914.

Still don't see the "full auto" part of the rifle. Sure he shot q few bursts quickly, but then it was definitely semi auto single shots after that. VERY unlikely that he built a select fire AR in his garage.Comment
