    Preferred Condition Status For Home

If you have a hideaway in place at home what is the preferred condition status of it.

I'm thinking that for most people condition 3 is likely the best?

    What are other's thought?

Loaded, sans round chambered on the pistol. When retrieving my striker fired pistol from the bedside safe for range time I've noticed my fingers will occasionally get inside the trigger guard.

My AR 15 in the big gun safe is loaded and ready to go with 10+1.

All my firearms are in our safes. For combat ready I rely on Ace Girl and her lightning quick reflexes.

Holstered with one in the pooper, in various locations.

Round in the chamber safety off in DA mode in the holster. Don't know what condition that is but it makes me feel warm and cozy at night.

Not really, it's a small dark box and the trigger isn't covered

Nightstand gun: Fully loaded and chambered + a reload mag next to it

Rest of the guns: In the safe with full mag inserted and empty chamber

Anything usable for defense is loaded and ready. 1911 is cocked and locked. Striker fired pistols are safety off in holsters. Shot gun is safety on, but loaded. Why safeties off on the pistols? I'm left handed. That's the way they get carried, that's the way they stay when not carried.
