Have fun, it's a great range. Bring lots of different types of targets since it's BYOT except paper, otherwise it can get quite boring.

Bowling pins and golf balls are fun, as well as fruit.

    Sorry, no tannerite.

Lytle Creek this weekend? Good luck. I guess Sunday is the best day to go if you want to go this weekend. The winds should only be 25mph in the canyon as opposed to 40mph+ on Saturday.

I liked Lytle Creek...they let me shoot my steel.

They are nice folks there, but the range is a little bare. I had to build my own target stands to work out there since they don't really provide anything.

Also, GO ERARLY! Many a Saturday I have been there later than 8:30 to have to sit around and wait until 11:00 for a lane.
Nothing to see here. . . Move along.

Definately bring something to keep your target stands up and a rubber mallet wouldn't hurt either. If your target gets blown down it may be a while before you can put it back up. Don't ask me how i know...

You're actually going to brave it this weekend? I don't know if anyone will want to shoot in the winds that will be coming through the canyons.

I shot my first gun at Lytle Creek a long time ago when I was a kid. They didn't even have a range back then, it was a mess and bullets were buzzing around like hornets. Its a nice location, I'm glad they finally put an official range in there.
