Floridagunworks.com: RIPOFF?

Hey guys,

I looked on their site but found a ton of bad reviews with some Googling. Has anyone used these guys or is this just a flat out scam site?

Never used them, but they have a bad rap on Fal Files.

They are legit but be prepared to wait a long time for parts. I bought 3 muzzle breaks for M1A's and wait a month to get them when they said it was in stock ready to ship. I called them after really having to search for a phone number and said I was going to cancel the transaction and have my CC company go after them. They said it would ship in a few days they had to order them.

If you're looking at getting something there that's close to the same price elsewhere... go elsewhere.

If they're the only option for something.. well, call first and get 'em to at least lie to you and tell you it's in stock first.

Blind internet ordering seems to get worse treatment from places like that...

Call or e-mail first. They were honest with me and didn't make a sale. There is a complete disconnect between their website and inventory.

Well, at least with a CC one can cancel it if they try to screw it up after a fair number of days have passed.

I have heard this many times. That FGW regularly don't have the stock on hand, but continuing taking orders for the items. This results in either a very long wait while they attempt to order the item for you, or they'll cancel the order months down the line, if they cannot fill the order.

I'd be leery of FGW - a lot more negative than positive reviews.
