"Whitworth" is an English thread standard that I doubt if anyone uses anymore (although maybe still in the UK). I've never owned anything with Whitorth threads but they might be useful if you have old British motorcycles or motor cars.

Yes - that might be it or an Automag. I would often bump into them at gun shows thinking they were aftermarket Coonan .357 mags hoping that be the case, then deflate once realizing they were the AMT (or Automag / brand X).

Just now I was trying to think of the other gun that had a similar look to the Coonan aftermarket mags that were briefly available and I think you nailed it.

Found a small horde of non magnetic jewelry, one being a well worn US Army ring, some other rings with stones, and a really neat crow call that works.



There are still a few greasy pieces of cloth wrapping something enclosed in plastic bags. I'm gonna open them tonight. Off to lunch!
