Cabela's FTL - annoyed!!

Placed an order on Cabela's for a bucket of 1400 22lr from Cabela's and added a 100rd pack of some other remington to get to $99 for free shipping. check order status today and its shipped with charge of $9.99. I check order and the bucket is cancelled and they sent me the 100rds... Was like WTH - main reason for the order was the bucket. Had similar thing happen with Gander where placed order and 3-4 days later get email saying order was cancelled and sorry for inconvinience. At least Gander emails change with your order. Cabela's nothing. Why do they accept the order if they don't have it. Need to organize their online way of tracking their supplies and orders accepted. Guess its a crap shoot when 22lr comes on sale - place order and cross your fingers it goes through.

Just had to get it off my chest. Gotta wait for the bucket to come on sale again.

I've stopped ordering from Cabelas. Too many canceled orders. I'll stick with SGAmmo from now on.

It happened to me sometimes when ordering large amount of shotshells, especially those that are popular with special deep discount. What Cabelas would do, is to ship what they have but your free shipping will still apply.

Essentially, OP should have received his $9.99 item with no additional shipping charges.

My take on his post is he paid about $20 for 100 rnds 22LR.

OP just do a charge back. Then have cabela's send you a ship tag. Their failure shouldn't cost you one cent.

So did you call them? Many times a phone call will resolve the issue.
