    Winchester .223 ammo

Anyone used the Winchester .223 ammo at Wal*Mart (40 rnd value pack)?
    It's a 45 Gr JHP

If so, what did you think, reliability, accuracy. For an AR-15.

    thanks

A friend of mine uses them. He doesnt know or care about grains, fmj, jhp, or anything like that, he's just cheap. We went shooting the other day and shot 80 rounds of the stuff. All fed good w/o issues, all went BANG!, and thats what matters. Accuracy wasnt really tested as we were just having fun. Most winchester stuff seems to be pretty good though.

accuracy is great but bullet setback is a problem. if they use a crimp it is very light.
