Another CCW story

Talking with one of my neighbors across the street they notified me that another neighbor that lives on the same street a block down, was approached while parked in his car by two hispanic males almost in front of my house. One approached the driver side while one stood in front of the car impeading forwad motion.

Apparently, the neighbor down the street is a judge and has his CA CCW. He apparently drew his weapon and the perps fled on foot.

This occured late Tuesday December 30 between 11:00-12:00 PM.

I don't know if he made a report, probably not.

So, another story where a CCW possibly saved someone from harm. Problem is...the only reason this private citizen was able to defend himself from harm in a situation where he was outnumbered was because he had a "tool of self defense", a gun, and if he were not a judge?

Sad that I can not exercize my State or National Constitutional Rights to "Self Defense" CA Section 1 Article 1, or USA 2A. Even though Law Enforcement has been granted immunity by Warren v. DC where "Law Enforcement has NO Obligation to protect any individual".

"A tool of self defense"? It would seem to me that the one fellow would be standing in front of a four wheeled "tool of self defense". Time to floor it, baby.

Last I checked, pedestrians have the right of way. The story doesn't say whether they had weapons. Pulling the piece was appropriate if he feared imminent bodily harm. There's no real threat with a vehicle. You're either going at them, or you're not. The piece says "I will kill you with either or both deadly weapons available to me if you really want to escalate this."

Yes a gun is deadily. But you are in just as much danger of being run over....

I would bet money that his being a judge is why they were there.
