At Costa Mesa Last fall it was going for over 6$ a box... Has anyone dealt with them recently and have the prices gone back down? Just wondering ifi ts even worth it to trek to the Roadrunner show this weekend...

All ammo prices are crazy right now. I would check the for sale forum first.sigpicIf you loan someone twenty dollars and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

I got some copper jacket/lead core/steel case Wolf at the Vallejo show from MiWall for $6.95 a box, not a stellar deal, but steel/bi-metal is frowned upon at my range.Comment

I've seen $350/1000rnds of black boxed Wolf at some shows...

Cheapest I saw was some 7.62 x 39 on sks stripper clips at Gun Vault for 4.50 for ten rounds this past weeked. The owner didn't know if it was corrosive, but it has the same color casing (dark brown) and manufacturer head stamp of some imported russian 'hunting' ammo in a 20 round paper box that wasn labeled as non-corrosive.Comment
