Is Big Shots in SD closed?

I saw them moving and thought it was just that, "A move" but when I did a search on Google Maps it had them as "closed". Anyone got any word on this place?

The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.

Yup sign is down and everything. Allegedly ammo bros is moving in there from what I've heard. There is a thread about people not being able to pick up their guns..

wow, they didn't even give people their guns before moving out ?

that's kinda shady, but hopefully it wasn't on pre meditated and those folks get their guns

Quite competitive here locally with gun shops, as you know. It's always been that way. Those dudes never once answered the phone & I tried quite a few times. Too bad, so sad.

IM not gonna lie the first time I walked in there I didnt even get a hello. I asked a question about transfering a C&R gun and they looked at me like I was a criminal. I guess they spent too much money on flashy booths and wraps for their brodozer to actually succeed.

They are closed down but there is a sign in the window "Coming Soon Ammo Bros."

Was not a fan but a coworker loved that place . Prices just to high and they had nothing that was not at Parallax.

The one in OC wasn't even open a year, they were walking distance to a Riflegear so that wasnt a smart idea.

Never had a problem with the staff there and my friend bought a Sig 1911 there. My only negative comment was that the prices were high especially compared to Parallax, Gunfighter and DAS all close by.

I got an M&P45 there a few years ago (before it dropped off the list) just because they were the only shop in town that had one in stock. I honestly never went back in after I picked it up.

I'm always amazed at businesses that "think" they'll succeed. I go in, say hi, look around & it's not too tough to figure out who, or what will last. 30 years ago locally, the choices were limited, discount was around & so-cal gun. These days you better shine in almost every aspect of the business.

Some guys expect internet sales & accounts to prop up their business, I've heard them say as much. Good luck with that.

I visited a new shop recently, can't see how they'll last.

Wow, bummer. I went there as often as possible but after some builds, really didn't need a shop. Guys were always cool.

TBH having an Ammo Bros there doesnt seem like a step up. I went to their store in Cucamonga or wherever and was not impressed.
