    Anyone try Otis Ear Shield?

Just saw this on an ad from a gun magazine. It's kind of an ear plug that has some material that amplifies low decibel sound, like talking. It mimics an electronic ear muffs in that sense without needing batteries. Being an ear plug, it is smaller profile than ear muffs, which I like. Supposedly, it even has 31NRR for just $25. Anyone have any experience with these things?

I have one. It works well outdoors and doesn't interfere with your cheek weld on a rifle. I can hear conversations pretty well also. For indoor shooting I would be a little hesitant. Magnum caliber handguns and rifles are a still a little too loud for me.
