Soon it will reach the point where the frenzy will die out and the ammo will not be purchased at these prices. Look for ammo price cuts by mid year.

Not to mention the falling price of commodities, sounds like some of these people are trying to recoup their losses from the last few months by jacking up the prices.

Same sort of thing was happening in England with gas, even after crude prices had dropped significantly.

I've heard things should be back down by June. I can only hope so. I picked up a 500 round tin of Wolf .223 from this guy. First purchase ever from him. I think I paid $159 for it early-December (that was to the door.) Still the same price for the same ammo. Haven't opened that particular tin yet, but I do know it's Berdan primed, non-corrosive.

I was planning to order the same thing, maybe I should do it now before a price change happens. Just hope my rifles can use it without issue.

There are others out there that will sell reasonably cheaper but after shipping it may be the same. Search out the golden bear 7.62x39. Its better on your rifle anyway.

yeah...I know that...but ammoman has had two increases since obama was elected...originally it was $199 for 1K...then $249 for 1K...now $289 for 1K...price was raised as of yesterday...
