PSA or Surplus ammo uppers

Going to order a new upper to complete a receiver that has been sitting around. If you were to choose between PSA or Surplus Ammo and Arms uppers, which one would you pick? Also, what is the preference on Melonite vs phosphate/parkerized finished barrels? Melonite certainly looks nicer but is there a draw back?

I am ordering a 300BO 10.5 upper today to go with a lower I bought last month. The one I want just came back in stock. I also need a BCG but may wait on that purchase.

The lower is a blem but I can't find anything wrong with it.

I've bought a number of the "cheapest" PSA uppers in the past few years. They've all worked just fine - along with the cheapest polymere lowers. I like using these and not having to worry about how they look and if they get dirty. I've always been really surprised I didn't have more troubles.

I have owned both, if I had to pick I would pick the least expensive of the two.
Quality appears to be the same.

Thanks for the suggestions gents. Do you guys have a preference on different types of rails that are offered on some of these uppers? I see Midway, fortis, BCM, Keymod, etc. Im looking for a flat top with minimal side rail, enough for a light and a laser but not too heavy. Like to keep the total weight under 8# hopefully.
