    Allowed at Burro Canyon?

Will be heading out to Burro next week for the first time. I know metal targets are not allowed, but does anyone know if it's OK to bring used bowling pins as targets? Their website wasn't really clear about this.

They are fine on the private ranges. I don't think you can use improvised targets on the public ranges.

Yes, we've got a private range reserved. Thanks for all the replies!

We have a monthly match where we rent one of the ranges at Burro Canyon. It is weird to try to run a stage around pumpkins and grapefruit that someone has shot up and left on the ground. Biodegradable or not, people should pick up after themselves - but that is not as much fun as making a mess that someone else eventually has to clean up.
