Why will the gun manufactures not sue the DOJ over the Roster? I know the state can impose additional requirements on a product for safety. The suit would be over their interoperation that changing the manufacture of internal parts, even though they spec out the same, is now a new gun and is subject to the micro stamping requirement. This is just intellectually dishonest. This also appears to be a form of blocking free trade. Hope this is not a repeat question. I did use the search button.

I know we already have the Pena lawsuit attacking it from the consumer side. it would be nice to come at it from the manufacturer and dealer side as well.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Gun makers are supporting the Pena case with amicus briefs:

SAAMI and NSSF seem to have filed am amicus, but I don't see a link to an electronic copy.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

Yes, but amicus briefs are cheap... and filed well after the heavy lifting (and lawsuiting) was done and borne by their customers. Leading from the rear again.Gun makers are supporting the Pena case with amicus briefs:

So, anyone think this could be a case of free trade infringement? I know as a dealer it has cut into the gross profits. Because we are limited on what can be bought from our distributors, there is always a shortage of rostered firearms. The manufacturers cannot produce rostered firearms forever because they are always changing parts, this will cause the firearm to drop off the list. They now lose a large market because the DOJ declared the firearm as new, when in fact it is not. This is purely an artificial shortage that is created by DOJ.Last edited by REH; 04-22-2016, 4:28 PM.Comment

So in about six years when this is all settled maybe they'll take the roster away!
Remember that judgment that said the 10 day wait was unconstitutional.......? Exactly.............Comment
