    "Lost" and "Found"

Sold a pre-Tracker mid 90's .44 a few years ago, regretted it almost immediately. IT traded hands at least twice over the last few years but thanks to the CG community I tracked it down and bought it back Sunday. Now she's in jail. Anyone else ever track down something like this? Stoked!

    Congrats, that's s great feeling!

Never happened with a firearm, but it's happened a couple of times with music gear.

Thanks! When the seller confirmed the serial number I was blown away, still in great shape too!

I saw the same thing in a movie about a magical ring once.
          which was totally ridiculous.

A gun on the other hand...

          that's another story entirely.
As long as you start don't start whispering to it and calling it "your precious"
you should be good to go and consider yourselves both very lucky.

That is a beauty and still looks to be in great shape even after a few different owners.
I can see why you wanted it back.

You need to buy some quality wood grips and if you loan it to me, I'll install them for free.
