    Good ammo prices?

So as I sit here and try to decide where is the best place to bulk up on ammo I start to wonder what everyone thinks is the acceptable price for it. I'm wondering how much we'll say 1,000 rounds of the following should be found for; .223, .308, 7.62X39, .45, .40

For regular ammo I usually go to the Milipitas Wal Mart. Pricing is 100rd of .45 for $22, they also stock rifle rounds as well. Not sure where else locally they can match those prices.

      Aim Surplus

Look at Aim Surplus web site. Cheaper and you don't have to shop at Walmart!

Bulk up on plinking ammo, or "good" ammo? There's a big price delta there.

I know I paid $175 for 1000rds of Ammobros reloads in 223, which I'd regard as perfectly good for plinking grade.
